Simi Valley woman paid $7,000 to city’s sewer system without realizing she had a septic tank
A Simi Valley woman dutifully paid her taxes on a sewer hook-up for the the last 21 years. And then last year, when she had some plumbing problems, she found out that she had a septic tank and wasn’t on the city septic. She wants what she sees as her $9,000 in back payments back, but the city is only offering her $2,609.
