The reason for the &quot;plumbing&quot; is not only the hot/cold water supply, but also drainage, pressure, and temperature control.  If you are concerned about getting plumbing into non-accessible walls, then you can check out the Saniflo products, of which I have included a link to one particular option below.  It would be best for you to call a licensed plumber to get an estimate &amp; ideas.  It is something you want done properly n/c bad plumbing band-aids can be a moisture nightmare, especially in a basement.  Good luck!</description>
